Shori Nishimoto

Product Manager

Career Summary

"After joining Recruit as a new graduate, I worked as a data scientist, focusing on the planning and development of AI- and data-driven applications. I joined CADDi in 2022. After leading the planning and development of a product that estimates manufacturing costs from parts drawings, I now primarily work in product management for AI technology components."

Why I Joined

"There were three main reasons: 1.the size of the market we are addressing, 2.the difficulty of the problem we are trying to solve, with its many variables 3.the quality of the people. I believe that the larger the market, the greater the opportunity to mobilize significant resources and take on bigger challenges. As for the second point, I originally came from a data scientist background, so I felt that an environment where data sits at the core of the business, and where I could tackle complex problems with many variables, would allow me to further sharpen my expertise. Regarding the third point, I had the impression that there were many thoughtful, grounded people here who are genuinely focused on the work itself, and even now, four years after joining CADDi, I still feel the same way."

Role at CADDi

"In the Manufacturing business, I led the planning and development of a product for estimating the cost of parts drawings, contributing to price analysis and shorter lead times in responding to customer quotations. Currently, I am mainly engaged in managing new products that leverage AI agents."
