Shigemoto Fujikura

Engineering Manager

Career Summary

I was stationed in Silicon Valley with OGIS-RI and worked on joint development projects with local startups. After returning to Japan, I completed a graduate degree in Intelligent Systems Design Engineering at Kanazawa Institute of Technology. I joined Sansan in 2009 and became Executive Officer and CTO in 2019. As Director and CTO of Sansan Global Development Center, I also strengthened the company's global development structure. In 2024, I joined CADDi and was appointed VP of Engineering.

Why I Joined

When I started thinking about taking on a new challenge, I wanted to leverage my experience in software development while also getting involved in manufacturing, something I had loved since childhood. I also had a personal ambition to help software developed in Japan be used around the world and to grow it into a major business. I decided to join CADDi because I believed this was the place where I could take on that challenge.

Role at CADDi

As VP of Engineering, I am focused on managing the engineering organization. We have excellent engineers and outstanding technology, and my role is to build an organization that helps both the people and the company make the most of those strengths. I want to create development teams that can deliver what they build to customers quickly, see those efforts recognized, and feel the business grow as a result.
