I am a Kaggle Grandmaster. I began my career at an advertising agency in 2018, where I worked in research and development. I later joined DeNA as a data scientist, contributing to the development of demand–supply forecasting models for ride-hailing in the automotive business, as well as recommendation models for the live streaming business. In 2022, I joined CADDi, where I worked on drawing analysis and currently focus on MLOps.
I was looking for an environment where I could create real impact on the manufacturing industry through data science and AI. I had a strong desire to apply the machine learning knowledge I had developed through Kaggle not to web services, but directly to challenges in manufacturing operations, and I strongly resonated with CADDi’s mission of “unlocking the potential of the manufacturing industry.” The challenge of turning rare and valuable unstructured knowledge—such as drawings and design data—into assets through technology offers both the technical difficulty unique to the physical world and the potential for major business impact, which is why I decided to join.
In the Data & Analysis Department, I lead technical validation efforts using machine learning. Since joining, I have worked broadly across the development and operation of machine learning–based systems, including the development and operation of drawing image analysis models, the establishment of MLOps infrastructure, and the development of search capabilities using LLMs. By working at the intersection of technology and business, I hope to further expand the possibilities of applying AI in the manufacturing domain.
