Masaki Iizako
Career Summary
I joined a system integrator as a new graduate and gained experience developing a wide range of systems. Later, on the technology platform team at a hotel and restaurant reservation company, I worked on company-wide API development and cloud migration projects. At a blockchain and cryptocurrency company, I served as tech lead for the Platform Team within the SRE Group, working on the development of a trading engine and broader cross-functional technical challenges. At CADDi, after contributing to product development for production management and for supply partners, I launched the Platform Team and has been working under the mission of unleashing the potential of the development organization.
Why I Joined
I wanted to take on the challenge of using technology to solve larger social issues, and an ex-colleague who had already joined CADDi introduced me to the company. The biggest reason I chose to join was that I was drawn to both the scale and the significance of the challenge the company was taking on. My student experience with CAE had also given me some exposure to manufacturing companies, so I already knew something about both the fascination and the difficulty of the industry. I was also interested in the thinking behind CADDi's technology stack, and that played a part in my decision as well.
Role at CADDi
After joining CADDi, I worked on product development for production management and for supply partners. Later, in July 2021, I launched the Platform Team together with one colleague, and since then we have been working under the mission of unleashing the potential of the development organization.
