Kenichi Sakiyama
Career Summary
After working at Future Architect and M3, I joined CADDi in July 2021. With a strong interest in identity and access technologies such as OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0, I have led the authentication and authorization team for CADDi Drawer since November 2023. Since April 2025, I have served as the engineering manager of the Authentication and Authorization Group.
Why I Joined
I was job hunting right in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. As society changed dramatically, I was inspired by startups that saw the upheaval as an opportunity and grew rapidly, and I began to think that I wanted to be in that kind of environment as well. CADDi was one of the companies where I had a casual interview, and that was where I had the chance to speak with Akky, our CTO. my passion and commitment to manufacturing made a strong impression on me, and that enthusiasm drew me into the selection process and ultimately led me to join.
Role at CADDi
I currently lead the authentication and authorization domain for CADDi, the AI data platform for manufacturing, as an engineering manager. I have long been especially passionate about this area, and today I play two main roles. The first is technical leadership: I use my expertise in OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0 to advise engineers and support technical decision-making. The second is project management: I help structure development processes and contribute to smooth product delivery.
